Please don't worry about me
I got a phone call from Jeanne at Simple Market Farms. I am just busy at work and with the other house and EGA things. I did not mean to disconnect, but some days it is easier to communicate than others.
I still have one friend unaccounted for in New Orleans. I have googled him and checked the Katrina sites and have not seen anything on him. Ironically, I spoke of him this weekend on the drive back from Natchez NeedleArts. It made me realize that he lived in sort of a crappy part of New Orleans proper and it has been worrying me ever since. Last time we spoke, it was on the phone, and he was doing well. I hope he made it somewhere safe and dry.
I am hoping that there will not be any reprecussions from the next hurricane out there...Rita.
